The exciting, three day event began last night with the Mehndi. We couldn’t resist pulling some stills from our footage to share with you here.

Today, we’re filming the Grashanthi and the Garba. Tomorrow, it’s the wedding and reception, where we will be showing a Same Day Edit. Well, can it still be called a SDE if we have three days to do it? Maybe we’ll have to create a new name for them. How’s “Reception Film”? Maybe something a little flashier. Give us your suggestions!

Here’s the rundown:  The Farm at South Mountain was the beautiful venue, Jane Zarzynski Photography was the incredible photographer, Kate Klein Design did the unique floral arrangements, Honeymoon Sweets did the tasty cake and Got You Covered spun the cool tunes.

This weekend The Phoenix Bridal Show will hold the ever popular Wedding Cake Dive at 2:50pm on Sunday May 16, 2010 at the University of Phoenix Stadium located at 1 Cardinals Drive, Glendale.  One lucky bride will win over $3,500 worth of prizes from wedding photography to cosmetic surgery packages when she competes with other brides who will be digging through a six foot wedding cake to uncover a hidden “diamond ring”.  Yes, this will be messy, but tons of fun!

Over 100 Valley wedding professionals will be on display from 10am to 3pm. .  Brides, grooms and their families will be able to preview the ultimate in bridal fashions and the latest in wedding trends as well as everything they need to make their special day “perfect” all under one roof.  They will also be able to taste award winning cuisine from the Valley’s top wedding caterers and wedding cake bakers.

Here’s some tips if you’re a first timer to a Bridal Show:

• Wear comfy shoes, you’ll be doing some walking
• They’ll give you a “Bride Bag” at the door which is jam packed with items from vendors that chose to have literature placed inside. You might want to bring something that is more comfortable to carry so you can have a place to put that and other goodies.
• Bring address labels with your names, address, phone number, event date and location. Several vendors have drawings and you don’t want to spend all your time filling out entry forms. There are about hundreds of vendors and most will be doing a drawing of some sort so calculate that in to how many labels you bring.
